out) which has tons of recipes that look amazing.  I found a super easy one for chicken tacos.  All you do is put in a jar (16 oz.) of salsa, a packet of taco seasoning, and 6 pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breasts into a crock pot.  I totally lucked out and the person who lived in my apartment before me left tons of kitchen supplies, including a crock pot.  Just throw everything in there for either 4-6 hours on high, or 6-8 hours on low.  Mine are still cooking right now, but it smells awesome and it was so simple to make.  It makes a lot so I’ll probably have dinner for the invited me over for some ramen with sriracha.  This person is literally obsessed with it - there are probably three bottles in the fridge and I even gave it to them as part of their Christmas present this year.  It really does give the ramen a whole different flavor, though.  The bottle says it is a hot sauce, but if you use the right amount you can get a lot of good flavor without the spiciness.  There was one time where we put it on pizza and that ended up being really tasty.  That was probably my favorite sriracha experience so far, but the ramen comes in at a close was right about was the salad (which was actually pretty tasty.  Pomegranate vinaigrette dressing mmmm) and the cookies.  Instead of pasta we had potatoes, and then the meat was a stuffed pork roast, I think.  My nana also made homemade applesauce, which was really good.  We had the best possible assortment of cookies for dessert: Italian brown cookies, pizzelles, kolackys, and knots.  So yeah.  Duh.  But this means that I will be going to be spending the evening with my dad&#8217;s side of the family.  If you know me, then you probably know that I am not a big fan of family functions.  Despite that, there is always some good food to eat.  This side of my family is Italian, so there will most likely be a bunch of Italian dishes.  I haven&#8217;t heard what the official menu for tonight is, but I am predicting that there will be some sort of pasta (usually my Nana&#8217;s gnocchi), salad (actually not a huge fan of it), and hopefully some good Italian sausage or something like that.  And then probably some Christmas cookies and other assorted desserts.  Omnomnomnomnom.  I can&#8217;t wait to eat tonight.  I&#8217;ll post later to see if my predictions were correct.
